Welcome to The Central Pennsylvania Film Office

Pennsylvania's $75 million in tax incentives are not the only reason to film in the Commonwealth Of Pennsylvania's central region. Lush rolling moutains, pristine forests, Victorian hamlets and hundreds of acres of state forest are only a few of our sought after locations.
Working in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Film Office, the CPFO represents nine wonderfully diverse counties in Central Pennsylvania. We provide services for film, television, commercial, internet and video game productions. We will help you find the locations, crews or permits you need. CPFO BENEFIT WITH ACADEMY AWARD© WINNER TOM WOODRUFF, JR.

Academy Award Winner Tom Woodruff, Jr. announced he will join the advisory board of the Central PA Film Office (CPFO). The CPFO will publicly thank Woodruff for his support on Friday, February 25 at a benefit to be held in the Capitol Lounge at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport, PA from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Woodruff will be present at the event, along with his Academy Award© statuette, and will present a speech on the growth of film in Williamsport. In addition, he will debut a teaser trailer for his proposed feature film “Sideshow.”

A Montoursville, PA native, Woodruff garnered an Academy Award for his effects work on the Meryl Streep film, “Death Becomes Her.” In addition, he has received additional Academy Award nominations for “Starship Troopers” and “Alien3.” In 2010, Woodruff announced plans to direct the feature film “Sideshow” in the Williamsport area, for which he has scouted locations.
